Kelsey:
Human Anatomy and Physiology

Pre-Calculus

English 4
Psychology (Advanced Placement, which means a college level course)
Government (through Austin Community College, off campus)

Nathan:
Introduction to Engineering
Team Sports/Weight Training
English 2
Geometry
World History
Chemistry
Latin II
Philharmonic Orchestra (level 2)

Another First Day of School

But this one is different. Kelsey is a senior this year... this may be her last "first day of school" that I can participate in... although there was not much I did this year. I did still make her lunch, and remarkably enough, she took it. I did participate in the night before fashion show deciding what to wear today. (Although I don't know if my feedback or input was considered in the final decision). I did leave a love note in her lunchbox, telling her to "kick some senior butt" today. Otherwise, she got up, got ready, made a cup of coffee and was out the door by 7:10am... to her "dual credit" ACC class on the Westwood HS campus... my big girl.

Nate is a sophomore this year, so the anxiety of a new school was well behind us. No night before fashion shows, although he did get a folder and some pens/pencils ready last night. He was up early, showered, got himself breakfast, and realized he still had a full 30 minutes to kill before needing to leave for the bus... I did get a hug from my BIG boy, and he was delighted to discover I had made a wrap for his lunch. Not a lot of outer excitement tho, but I hope they both have a great day!
