Saying goodbye to 2012

So we survived 12/21/12- so far anyway! This time of year is always great for reflection on the past year and to make plans/set goals/make resolutions for next year!

Highlights this year- we sold my minivan (see previous post--Goodbye mini-van years!) Nate turned 16 and is working on his drivers license. Kelsey graduated from high school and completed her first semester of college! We took a great family vacation to California, (which included a detour to the Sequoia National Forest- amazing!) meeting up with my brother from Colorado to spend some "quality family time" together. Tones took the plunge and replaced his 10 year old Dodge truck with a new Toyota Tundra!

Things I have to look forward to next year: I have partnered with another doula who will share call with me just a few days a month to give me a chance to travel, see family, get outta town here and there, go camping, without having to stop doing doula work. We have two summer vacations planned this year-- a week in Destin, Florida and then a week in Colorado. I look forward to family time, seeing my kids continue to grow into amazing adults, and to re-connect with my husband, whom I happen to still like after almost 25 years together!
